1. Description of Services

Asmat provides an online charging platform, time-based billing engine, and mini-wallet services integrated with local mobile money operators (including Orange Money and Africell). It enables external client applications (such as taxi hailing platforms and tele-communication tools) to manage balance ledgers, process heartbeats for calls/duration, and initiate push/pull payouts.

2. User Accounts and Balance Security

Your Asmat wallet credentials and session tokens must be kept confidential. Asmat processes transactions instructed by integrated apps. While we utilize secured infrastructure, users are responsible for authorizing transactions inside their partner apps.

3. Transactions, Recharges, and Payouts

  • Pull Transactions (Top-Ups): Funds transferred via local mobile money operators are credited to your active wallet balance according to operator verification.
  • Push Transactions (Withdrawals): Balance cashouts to mobile money accounts are processed subject to operator limits, network availability, and verification.
  • Charging heartbeats: Connected applications submit usage statistics in real-time. In the event of network disruption, billing completes based on the last recorded heartbeat.

4. Limitation of Liability

Asmat acts as a transaction routing ledger. We are not liable for transaction failures caused by mobile money operator outages, local ISP network latency, or bugs/misconfigurations within third-party apps integrating our APIs.

3. Data Sharing

We share transactional identifiers with the corresponding mobile money networks (Orange, Africell) to authorize transfers. We do not sell or lease user data to advertising networks.
